The Chinese Language Education Research Center has a full-time team of researchers and language experts, who have pioneered a unique approach to bilingual learning that has established ISF as a world-leader in English-Chinese bilingual education. Developed over nearly a decade, a suite of multi-media materials in both print and electronic form published under the name Qilin promotes accelerated Chinese literacy in early elementary grades using a unique approach adapted from synthetic phonics. The current phase of this project will see the development of classroom-ready materials focusing on Chinese literacy skills in the middle school phase of education.
